Wavelength Guide

Wavelength is measured in nanometers and determines how deep the light reaches. Devices that combine red and near-infrared (NIR) cover more use cases than single-wavelength models, which is why most multi-wavelength devices list both ranges.

How to Use
  1. Start on clean, bare skin or an exposed treatment area.
  2. Fit or position the device so the light reaches your target area — a mask for the face, a belt for joints, a mat, blanket or panel for larger areas.
  3. Choose the mode and intensity level, then set the auto timer.
  4. Run three to five sessions a week, and wipe the surface after each use.
Product Comparison

All three device families use the same core 660nm red and 850nm near-infrared wavelengths, so the difference is coverage and fit rather than light quality. Pick the form that matches your day: a belt for targeted zones, a mat or a blanket for lying-down sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it cover the head as well?

Yes. When it is laid out over you it reaches the head. If you would rather have your face free, fold the upper edge back.

Will I get too hot under it?

It gives off light rather than heat, and the fabric is soft and breathable. If it feels warm, use a thin layer underneath, or turn the level down.

How long does it take to lay out?

Less than a minute. Most people leave it over the back of a chair or at the foot of the bed so it is ready.

Is it heavy?

It is a large item but not a heavy one. It can be moved by one person.

Can I use it while sitting up?

Yes. It can be pulled over your lap and shoulders while you are seated. Whatever position you choose, the timer works the same way.

Is it easy to store?

It folds flat and can go under a bed or on a shelf. Do not fold it along the same line every time.

Is it too wide to wear comfortably?

It sits over the back like a wide sash and stays put. People who are very broad should check the strap range on the product page before ordering.

Can I wear it while lying down as well?

Yes. It works sitting, standing or lying. The belt keeps the light against the back in any position.

Does it reach the front of the body?

No. It is for the back and shoulders. For other areas, a mat is easier to position.

How long per session?

Fifteen to twenty minutes. There is no benefit in extending it — a second short session later is better than one long one.
